filosofia.
Interruption as a presence, an absence and a text’s assignment that, however, doesn’t allow itself to get fixed, classified or apprehended. The source and, simultaneously, the privileged body of a writing place where interrogation is ceaselessly and where there is no place for answers, interruption leads us to time suspension, to a time where the past comes to the present, a time for José Saramago to testify, which means, to portray. Circumstantial, subtle and skilfull, José Saramago’s text in his short narratives, is not only the all of a literary work, but his first literary tool to provoke breaches, ruptures and judgment suspensions. Shattering fragment, interruption certainly deserves a deepen studies, in the map that intersects literature and philosophy.
