O presente Relatório de Atividade Profissional tem por objetivo cumprir com os requisitos com
vista à obtenção de Grau de Mestre em Engenharia do Ambiente, em conformidade com o
Decreto-Lei n.º 74/2006, de 24 de março, que regulamenta o Processo de Bolonha,
nomeadamente, o artigo 20º, relativo à estrutura do ciclo de estudos conducente ao grau de
Mestre e o artigo 45º, respeitante à creditação. De acordo com o Despacho/Circular nº 20/2010,
FCT NOVA, os licenciados com mais de cinco anos de experiência profissional, na área de
especialidade da respetiva Licenciatura, poderão requerer a equivalência à parte escolar do
Mestrado da sua especialidade e apresentar um relatório detalhado da sua atividade profissional,
devidamente comprovada, incluindo a discussão da experiência e competências adquiridas.
Em 2003 obtive a minha licenciatura em Engenharia do Ambiente, no ramo de Ambiente, na
Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, e em 2023 conclui a Pós-
Graduação em Tecnologias e Gestão da Água, organizada pela Academia das Águas Livres, com o
suporte das Faculdades de Ciências e Tecnologia e de Economia e Gestão da Universidade Nova
de Lisboa.
O meu percurso profissional foi marcado por várias experiências em contextos distintos, onde
tive oportunidade de desenvolver trabalho e participar em múltiplos projetos de natureza
diversa, com diferentes responsabilidades na área da gestão do ambiente, da gestão dos recursos
hídricos, da regulação e da gestão de projeto.
Este percurso profissional decorreu, principalmente, em empresas do Grupo Águas de Portugal,
em particular na Direção de Engenharia e Operação da AdP VALOR (empresa participada da Águas
de Portugal SGPS), desempenhando funções de apoio técnico à AdP SGPS e às empresas do Grupo
AdP, quer no território nacional quer no estrangeiro.
O presente Relatório descreve a minha atividade profissional ao longo de 20 anos, a qual se
centrou principalmente nos domínios da Gestão do Ambiente, Gestão dos Recursos Hídricos,
Adaptação às Alterações Climáticas, Regulação e Processos Institucionais.
O Relatório destaca algumas áreas e projetos que permitem demonstrar a minha experiência em
áreas chave que concorrem para os domínios anteriormente identificados.
Por último, destaco o privilégio de ter podido, através do meu percurso, contribuir para a
melhoria, sustentabilidade e resiliência de um setor central para o desenvolvimento económico e
social e para a proteção do ambiente e dos seus recursos, quer a nível nacional quer a nível
internacional.
The present Professional Activity Report aims to fulfill the requirements for obtaining the Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering, in accordance with Decree-Law no. 74/2006, of March 24, which regulates the Bologna Process, specifically Article 20, regarding the structure of the study cycle leading to the Master's degree, and Article 45, regarding accreditation. According to Dispatch/Circular No. 20/2010, FCT NOVA, graduates with more than five years of professional experience in the specialized area of their degree may apply for equivalence to the academic portion of the master’s degree in their specialty and submit a detailed report of their professional activity, duly substantiated, including a discussion of the experience and skills acquired. In 2003, I obtained my five-year degree in Environmental Engineering, specializing in Environment, from the Faculty of Sciences and Technology at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and in 2023, I completed a Post-Graduate Program in Water Technologies and Management, conducted by the Faculties of Sciences and Technology and Economics and Management at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. My professional journey has been marked by various experiences in different contexts, where I had the opportunity to work and participate in diverse projects of distinct nature, with different responsibilities in the areas of environmental management, water resources management, regulation, and project management. This professional path primarily unfolded in companies within the Águas de Portugal Group, particularly in the Engineering and Operation Directorate of AdP VALOR (a subsidiary of Águas de Portugal SGPS), performing technical support functions for AdP SGPS and the companies within the Águas de Portugal Group, both nationally and internationally. This Report describes my professional activity over 20 years, focusing mainly on the domains of Environmental Management, Water Resources Management, Climate Change Adaptation, Regulation, and Institutional Processes. The Report highlights specific areas and projects that demonstrate my expertise in key domains contributing to the previously identified fields. Finally, I emphasize the privilege of being able, through my journey, to contribute to the improvement, sustainability, and resilience of a sector crucial for economic and social development and for the protection of the environment and its resources, both nationally and internationally.
