A presente dissertação foi desenvolvida no âmbito da realização de um estágio curricu-
lar no departamento de manutenção de uma empresa de produção de peças estampadas, a
Prenso Metal.
Inicialmente, foi efetuada uma análise crítica relativa aos procedimentos e metodologias
aplicadas à gestão da manutenção da empresa. Foram identificados alguns problemas e foram
apresentadas propostas de melhoria.
Foi definido como objetivo deste projeto de dissertação, o desenvolvimento e posterior
implementação de um novo sistema de registo de intervenções de manutenção.
A nova plataforma de registo de intervenções é composta por uma base de dados, um
formulário de introdução e análise de dados e por um painel de controlo. O sistema concebido
permite documentar toda a informação relativa às intervenções efetuadas, apresentando os
tempos e custos associados. A partir do histórico de intervenções registadas, é possível anali-
sar o nível de desempenho atual do departamento, através da definição de indicadores.
Após a conclusão do desenvolvimento do sistema, a nova aplicação foi testada, validada
e integrada nos sistemas informáticos da empresa.
A utilização da nova plataforma de registo de intervenções pode auxiliar na tomada de
decisões de gestão e proporcionar uma maior eficiência no desempenho das ações de manu-
tenção. Consequentemente, irá promover um aumento na produtividade e na qualidade dos
produtos desenvolvidos.
The following dissertation was developed within the framework of a curricular intern- ship in the maintenance department of a company that produces stamped parts, Prenso Metal. Initially, a critical analysis was carried out concerning the procedures and methodolo- gies applied to the company's maintenance management. Some problems were identified, and improvement proposals were presented. The objective of this dissertation project was defined as the development and subsequent implementation of a new system for recording maintenance interventions. The new intervention registration platform comprises a database, a data entry and anal- ysis form and a control panel. The system conceived allows documenting of all the information related to the interventions carried out, presenting the associated times and costs. From the historical data of registered interventions, it is possible to analyze the current performance level of the department, through the definition of indicators. After the completion of the development of the system, the new application was tested, validated and integrated in the company's IT systems. The use of the new intervention recording platform can assist in making management decisions and provide greater efficiency in the performance of maintenance actions. Conse- quently, it will promote an increase in productivity and in the quality of the developed prod- ucts.
