Resumo(s)

Our study examines the drivers of food delivery apps use and outcomes. Combining the DeLone and McLean Model with the Theory of Consumption Values and the TaskTechnology-Fit, we proposed and empirically validated a conceptual model with data from 219 European users of these apps. Contrary to what we expected, food safety concerns and health consciousness do not influence these applications' use or satisfaction. These two aspects seem to be driven exclusively by the adequacy of the applications with their user's needs (TTF). On the other hand, as we expected, these apps' net benefits are driven by these apps’ TTF, use, and users’ satisfaction. Several implications for theory and practice are drawn from our results.
