This article deals with the question of revival in the fields of literary production and other arts, based in part on the case of a French writer, Gérald Hervé (1928-1998). This question, which covers a theoretical-practical field that emerged a few decades ago, is still in its infancy. The author traces its history and its developments since its appearance in the 1980s. He then outlines its main axes from a definitional and methodological point of view, illustrating the subject with various tables. This article also aims to draw the attention of researchers and theoreticians in the human sciences to the necessary theoretical developments and to the practical application of the field.
