No âmbito da adequação dos ciclos de estudos ao designado processo de Bolonha (De-
creto-Lei 74/2006), o autor pretende com este relatório de atividade profissional, enquanto
licenciado pré-Bolonha em Engenharia Eletrotécnica, pela Escola Superior de Tecnologia do
Instituto Politécnico de Viseu, obter o grau de mestre em Engenharia Eletrotécnica e de Com-
putadores, com base nas competências adquiridas no decorrer do percurso profissional.
Atualmente a desempenhar funções nas Águas de Viseu, Serviços Municipalizados de
Água e Saneamento de Viseu, na Divisão de Tratamento de Água Residual, na carreira/cate-
goria de Técnico Superior e área funcional de Engenharia Eletrotécnica, é responsável pela
manutenção das instalações e equipamentos elétricos da ETAR Viseu Sul, e por elaborar e dar
pareceres técnicos sobre projetos de instalações elétricas e de telecomunicações no âmbito do
interesse das Águas de Viseu.
A experiência profissional do autor enquanto projetista nas especialidades de Instala-
ções Elétricas (IE) e em Infraestruturas de Telecomunicações em Edifícios (ITED) permitiu
consolidar e expandir as competências adquiridas nesta área.
No relatório irão ser apresentados dois casos de estudo, para melhor compreensão do
trabalho desenvolvido pelo autor, enquanto projetista. Os casos de estudo são os seguintes:
Projeto de Instalações Elétricas num Edifício de Habitação Unifamiliar com Alojamento Local,
e Projeto de Infraestruturas de Telecomunicações em Edifícios (ITED) num Edifício de Habi-
tação Multifamiliar. Em cada caso de estudo será feita uma descrição das etapas de elaboração
realizadas pelo autor para o desenvolvimento do respetivo projeto.
Para apoio ao projetista foi desenvolvida uma aplicação em folha de cálculo. A aplicação
destina-se a efetuar os cálculos do dimensionamento dos alimentadores de Quadros Elétricos.
O conhecimento alcançado durante o percurso profissional enquadra-se no perfil de
Mestre em Engenharia Eletrotécnica e de Computadores definido em regulamento pela Uni-
versidade Nova de Lisboa e que, nos termos do Despacho 29/2010 da Faculdade de Ciências
e Tecnologias da Universidade Nova de Lisboa (FCT-UNL), apresenta as competências neces-
sárias para obter equivalência a esse nível de qualificação académica.
In the context of adapting study cycles to the so-called Bologna process (Decree-Law 74/2006), the author intends with this professional activity report, as a pre-Bologna graduate in Electrical Engineering from the School of Technology at the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu, to obtain a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, based on the competences acquired throughout the professional journey. Currently working at Águas de Viseu, Municipal Water and Sanitation Services of Vi- seu, in the Wastewater Treatment Division, in the career/category of Senior Technician and functional area of Electrical Engineering, the author is responsible for the maintenance of elec- trical installations and equipment at the ETAR Viseu Sul, as well as for developing and providing technical opinions on electrical and telecommunications installation projects within the scope of Águas de Viseu's interest. The author's professional experience as a designer in the specialties of Electrical Instal- lations (IE) and Telecommunications Infrastructure in Buildings (ITED) allowed for the con- solidation and expansion of the competences acquired in this field. The report will present two case studies for a better understanding of the work carried out by the author as a designer. The case studies are as follows: Electrical Installations Project in a Single-Family Housing Building with Local Accommodation, and Telecommunications Infrastructure Project (ITED) in a Multifamily Residential Building. In each case study, the author will provide a description of the development stages undertaken for the respective project. To support the designer, a spreadsheet application has been developed. The application is designed to perform calculations for the sizing of feeders of the electrical panels. The knowledge gained during the professional journey fits into the profile of a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering as defined by the regulations of the Univer- sidade Nova de Lisboa and, according to the Dispatch 29/2010 of the Faculty of Sciences and Technologies of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa (FCT-UNL), presents the necessary compe- tences to obtain equivalence to this level of academic qualification.
