A instabilidade da solução atual do software disponibilizado visa à proposta para melhoria
da mesma. Com a existência de versões mais atualizadas, torna-se mais viável e prática
a comunicação com as entidades de suporte (Fabasoft e Microsoft) com a atualização
da ferramenta. As versões desatualizadas deixam de ser compatíveis com ferramentas
de produtividade e com os próprios browsers. Pode criar instabilidade na utilização da
aplicação, isto devido a erros que surgem no sistema que suporta as bases de dados
aplicacionais. Com o objetivo de melhorar e tirar partido do melhor que a ferramenta
nos pode oferecer, pretende-se desenvolver um novo projeto na versão mais recente do
Fabasoft.
A solução proposta endereça os riscos identificados através da implementação de um
projeto de resultados rápidos e consistentes. Será um projeto alinhado com a estratégia em
desenvolvimento pelo cliente. Será desenvolvido um novo módulo para a estatística dos
recursos geológicos: minas, pedreiras e águas, uma vez que partilham bastantes semelhanças
em termos de modelo conceptual. Também irá ser desenvolvido um módulo composto
pelas instalações físicas de cada área e os respetivos processos estatísticos (inquérito
único de minas e pedreiras e estatística de águas). É importante referir que outro dos
módulos principais do projeto é a componente analítica que permitirá disponibilizar uma
ferramenta de análise aos dados estatísticos abordados neste projeto.
Uma vez completada esta atualização, a interação com a ferramenta de gestão docu-
mental será muito mais simples e confiável, sendo feita a recolha de informação num novo
portal de acesso e desenvolvido em tecnologia atual e aberta.
The instability of the current solution of the software that is being used aims to a proposal to improve it. With the existence of more up-to-date versions, it becomes more feasible and practical to communicate with support entities (Fabasoft and Microsoft) by updating the tool. Outdated versions are no longer compatible with productivity tools and with browsers. It can create instability in the use of the application, due to errors that appear in the system that supports the application databases. In order to improve and take advantage of the best that this tool can offer us, we intend to develop a new project in the latest version of Fabasoft eGov-Suite. The proposed solution addresses the identified risks through the implementation of a project with fast and consistent results. It will be a project aligned with the strategy that is being developed by the client. A new module will be developed for the statistics of geological resources: mines, quarries and waters since they are very similar in terms of the conceptual model and as they are, actually, hydrogeological resources. A module will also be developed comprising the physical facilities of each area and the respective statistical processes (single inquiry of mines and quarries and water statistics). It is important to mention that another of the project’s main modules is the analytical component that will make available an tool to analyze the statistical data addressed in this project. Once this update is completed, the interaction with the document management tool will be much simpler and more reliable, with the collection of information being carried out in a new access portal and developed using current and open technology.
