Resumo(s)

The Human Resources sector is one of the most strategic areas of a company. Managing talent and developing effective teams are crucial factors for organizational success. With the advancement of technology and the growing volume of data available, Human Resources Analytics has become increasingly important and relevant. The Human Resources Department from Unilever FIMA were facing a big challenge in the decision-making process due to a lack of structured and centralized data. Therefore, this work project aims to describe the development of a Business Intelligence solution through Power BI to help the Human Resources Department from Unilever FIMA becoming more data-driven decision-making and play a more strategic role in the Organization. Initially, an introduction to the problem identified was made, followed by a description of the company and finally a literature review concerning the main topics were provided. This project followed the Design Science Research methodology successfully applying all corresponding phases. The result was a BI solution made up of four dashboards that combine measures previously defined as necessary to generate relevant insights. The proposed solution improved the data driven decision-making process with real time and consistent information and answered to the business needs identified by the HR team.
