Realiza-se a análise dos critérios atuais para seleção da caixilharia e a sua evolução em
Portugal (ITE 51: 2009, NP 4517: 2014) e "benchmarking" nos Países Europeus Ocidentais Con-
tinentais com costa atlântica como Portugal, Espanha (CTE: 2006), França (DTU 36.5: 2010) e
Bélgica (NBN B 25-002-1: 2019). Estudam-se e propõem-se critérios de seleção de caixilharia
em função da sua exposição de acordo com a ação do vento do Eurocódigo 1 (NP EN 1991-1-
4: 2010), nomeadamente para definição dos requisitos Resistência à Ação do Vento, Estanqui-
dade à Água e Permeabilidade ao Ar (NP EN 14351-1+A2: 2019 para portas e janelas e EN
13830: 2003 para fachadas leves).
Recorrendo aos documentos regulamentares de âmbito nacional e internacional, às
normas aplicáveis e às informações técnicas emitidas em Portugal e em outros Países - como
Espanha, França e Bélgica - cujas exposições ao vento sejam possíveis de comparar, determi-
nam-se as ações do vento e os consequentes desempenhos na permeabilidade ao ar e estan-
quidade à água, sendo efetuada uma comparação entre os diferentes requisitos nacionais. Este
estudo tem ainda o objetivo de harmonizar os critérios com os nossos países vizinhos. Realiza-
se ainda, a determinação dos critérios, a avaliação dos custos adicionais que poderão afetar a
caixilharia, no caso de uma variação dos critérios, seja por incremento ou redução.
An analysis of the current criteria for the selection of window frames and their evolu- tion in Portugal (ITE 51: 2009, NP 4517: 2014) and benchmarking in the Continental Western European Countries with Atlantic coast (Portugal, Spain (CTE: 2006), France) is carried out (DTU 36.5: 2010) and Belgium (NBN B 25-002-1:2019) Study and propose criteria for the selec- tion of window frames depending on their exposure according to the wind action of Eurocode 1 (NP EN 1991-1- 4: 2010), namely to define the requirements for Resistance to Wind Action, Water Tightness and Air Permeability (NP EN 14351-1+A2: 2019 for doors and windows and NP EN 13830 for light facades). Considering the National and international regulations, applicable standards and tech- nical information issued in Portugal and in other countries - such as Spain, France and Belgium - whose exposure to wind can be compared, the actions of the wind and the consequent per- formance in permeability will be determined the airtightness and watertightness and a com- parison is made between the different national requirements. The objective is to harmonize criteria with our neighbour countries. It will be equally important, after determining the crite- ria, to assess the additional costs that may affect the window frames, in the event of a variation of the criteria, either by increment or reduction.
