A Onda da Transformação é um trabalho de pesquisa de mestrado em Antropologia que tem como objetivo, a partir do filme etnográfico, provocar reflexões sobre o cotidiano e o imaginário da Nazaré após as transformações ocorridas na vila desde a “descoberta” das ondas gigantes da Praia do Norte, em 2010, explorando aspectos relacionados a cultura, identidade, tradições, surf e turismo e o modo como esses elementos se entrelaçam.
: The Wave of Transformation is a master's degree research in Anthropology that aims, from the ethnographic film, to induce reflections on Nazaré’s daily life and imaginary after the transformations that occurred in the village since the “discovery” of the giant waves at Praia do Norte, in 2010, exploring aspects related to culture, identity, traditions, surfing and tourism and how these elements interlace.
