The Internet is a technological fact that we take for granted in our lives, but its global proliferation is a recent phenomenon and its effects cannot yet be fully understood. In this imminently visual medium, we turn our attention to the production of images, increasingly the center of communication. We consider a cycle in which the production of images shapes the world and is shaped by it. We focus on a discipline that works on visual communication to understand how its practitioners are influenced by the Internet, not only at the moment of production, but also in everyday life. What image do they have of the world? What images do they make of the world? To that end, an ethnographic experiment was carried out with students of communication design, in which some practical and reflexive mechanisms that return images to a world of images are described and analysed.
