A preparação para a reforma é uma das questões mais importantes do planeamento financeiro, pois a partir dela é possível garantir uma melhor qualidade de vida e segurança financeira no futuro. Por ser uma questão individual, complexa e de longo prazo, muitos brasileiros não se planeiam adequadamente ou postergam o planeamento da reforma. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo principal analisar o comportamento do brasileiro acerca do planeamento da reforma, à luz da Economia Comportamental. Para isto, foi realizada uma pesquisa online com brasileiros em idade ativa. O questionário conteve questões sobre o o viés de Autocontrole, Literacia Financeira, Planeamento da Reforma e dados demográficos. Apresentou-se uma Análise Descritiva das respostas ao questionário e realizou-se uma regressão logística a fim de obter as variáveis que impactam na propensão a poupança para a reforma. Os resultados mostraram que o Género, a Escolaridade, o Nível de Literacia Financeira e o Viés de Autocontrole são as variáveis significativas no modelo. Conclui-se que é preciso considerar fatores comportamentais na discussão acerca do planemento da reforma. Além disso, é necessário ampliar as políticas públicas de educação financeira no Brasil, principalmente no que se refere ao planeamento da reforma.
Preparing for retirement is one of the most important issues of financial planning, because from it is possible to ensure a better quality of life and financial security in the future. Because it is an individual, complex, and long-term issue, many Brazilians do not plan properly or postpone the retirement planning. The main objective of this work is to analyze the Brazilians behavior about the retirement planning, in the light of Behavioral Economics. For this purpose, an online survey was conducted with Brazilians of working age. The questionnaire contained questions about Self-Control bias, Financial Literacy, Retirement Planning, and demographic data. A Descriptive Analysis of the answers to the questionnaire was presented and a logistic regression was performed to obtain the variables that impact the propensity to save for retirement. The results showed that Gender, Education, Level of Financial Literacy and Self-Control Bias are the significant variables in the model. It is concluded that it is necessary to consider behavioral factors in the discussion about the retirement planning. In addition, it is necessary to expand public financial education policies in Brazil, mainly regarding retirement planning.
