Resumo(s)
This study focuses on discursive representation in humorous discourse of the genre stand-up comedy. In particular, the study aims to identify how the community of underprivileged classes of Margem Sul is constructed in the text through discursive representations. Situated in Text Linguistics (LT), it is mainly based on Textual Analysis of Discourses (ATD), developed by Jean-Michel Adam (2008). The discursive representation is an important part of the semantic aspect of texts and includes the following operations: theme, relationship, predication, aspectualization, spatial and temporal location. In order to carry out the analysis of comic texts, we considered four categories. A small corpus from a Portuguese stand-up comedy program (3m45s / 720 words) was analyzed. The textual analysis resulted in establishment of peculiar characteristics of the underprivileged classes of Margem Sul, namely, group spirit, the sense of community and unity among the members of the population of that area.
