3.2.1.40) and b-D-glucosidase (EC 3.2.1.21), and responsible for natural flavonoids hydrolysis. These
flavonoid aglycones represent potential drugs, essentially due to their antioxidant and antiinflammatory
properties and their increased bioavailability in the human body ."
