Resumo(s)
On March 19, 2020, a national state of emergency was declared in Portugal, in response to the pandemic of COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2), which led the population to mandatory confinement for about a month and a half ( March 19 to May 2, 2020). Throughout this period, and due to the impossibility of making other movements, supermarkets and food supply points were the only places of encounter and social contact. Here, we will give an account of the observation made in some of these places, and of the reflections that they aroused, from small supermarket ethnographies.
