Resumo(s)
The development of mobile trading grown out of Internet trading. Since recent technological developments for mobile devices allow the implementation of new activities, such as investment management, the purpose of this study is to understand the influence that mobile trading platforms have on users’ performance. To achieve this, a task technology fit (TTF) model combined with three more variables – Social influence, Anxiety, and Perceived benefits – is assembled to measure the impact of mobile trading on individual performance. For data collection an online survey was conducted in Portugal. The sample of this study is composed of 204 responses. The results validate the robustness of the proposed research model in explaining individual performance and offer support for it. Our findings point to a significant influence of TTF, use, and perceived benefits on Individual performance in mobile trading context.
