| dc.description.abstract | Hackers, do realizador Iain Softley, é um filme com características cyberpunk que explora o hacking e a internet, quando essas práticas e tecnologias não eram ainda conhecidas do grande público (1995). Este artigo procura explorar o modo como alguns géneros de música electrónica são empregues no filme, tanto através de faixas que já existiam antes da sua produção como de outras compostas espeficamente para criar determinados ambientes sonoros e formas de áudio‑visão (Chion 1994). Como tal, através de relações entre as práticas sociais das personagens, tanto em ambientes reais como virtuais no ciberespaço (Castells 2010), discute‑se o modo como a música colabora para a construção e reiteração de estereótipos de representação de internet, hacking e questões de pós‑humanismo (Cavallaro 2000). | en |
