saneamento.
This professional activity report aims to comply with the requirements established in Decree-Law 74/2006, of March 24 (Regulation of the Bologna Process), through a detailed description of the professional career. It includes a discussion of the experience and skills acquired, in accordance with Order No. 20/2010 (Obtaining a master’s degree for “Pre- Bologna” Graduates) issued by FCT NOVA. Obtaining a degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Algarve (2001) and completing a postgraduate degree in Sanitary Engineering (2004) from Faculty of Sciences and Technology of University Nova de Lisboa were fundamental in acquiring and deepening my knowledge and skills in the areas where I have developed my entire professional career. From the beginning of my professional career at VALNOR - waste management, to my current position at Águas do Vale do Tejo, I have acquired diverse and multidisciplinary experience, which has allowed me to develop diverse skills in the environmental sector, particularly in the areas of waste, certification systems (QAS and RS), and sanitation. In addition to my various professional experiences, I also gained experience at the Naval Academy, a higher education course for Navy officers, which, although not an experience in the environmental field, was crucial in developing my character and personal training, making me a more resilient, adaptable, and capable person for leadership tasks.
