| dc.description.abstract | Manoel Barbosa possui um percurso singular na arte da performance em Portugal. Este artigo trata sobre o seu período formativo como artista e algumas das suas protoexperiências performativas, nomeadamente as primeiras performances realizadas em contexto colonial, que aqui são descritas e analisadas no âmbito de uma estética da resistência anticolonialista e antifascista. A glance at Manuel Barbosa’s career within Portuguese performance art shows a unique path. This paper investigates his early arts formation period and some of his performative proto-experiences by focusing on one of his earliest participatory performances within a colonial context, which will be described and analyzed from the perspective of a resistance aesthetics based on anti-colonialism and anti-fascism. | en |
