With the advent of Industry 4.0, user requirements and the production of goods in reduced amounts without added costs are some of the challenges that the modern manufacturing industry faces, with market demand focusing on customized, sustainable and affordable production to the final consumer, without technical requirements or large investments upfront. This document focuses on one of the solutions to be explored in this context, Manufacturing- as-a-Service (MaaS), which seeks to expose to the end user, in the form of services, the resources inherent to a cloud-based manufacturing network. A study is made on Industry 4.0, Cyber-Physical Systems and Cloud Manufacturing, being concepts and technologies that allow the emergence of MaaS, and a practical and implementable solution is proposed within the parameters that define MaaS, with the objective of designing and implementing a Manufacturing-as-a-Service platform, that can be used as a proof-ofconcept, based on the current context of the industry. From the work done, resulted a simple and practical platform that allows to better understand the fundamental concepts of MaaS, demonstrating its advantages as a solution for Industry 4.0, either from an end userās perspective or from a manufacturing services providerās perspective.
