In the football industry, an innovation that has emerged and is increasingly taking on a more important role is Data Analysis. With the attempt to seek a competitive advantage, Big Data was introduced as a way to obtain value and insights from information that at first seemed useless. Which leads to a new era in football and sports organizations where decisions are made based on data. Thus, the main objective of this internship report is to present a description of the implementation of the various data analysis and intelligence methodologies in the sport sector. Namely in a Football Federation, where the main sports under study are Football, Futsal and Beach Football, comprising all educational and professional sectors. This internship took place at the FPF (Portuguese Football Federation), in two different spaces. These being the Portugal Football Observatory and the Department of Intelligence and Service to the Fan, thus supporting the various studies and analyzes developed. The main result expected from the completion of this internship was the development of research methodologies, analysis and visualization of data related to football, and their application through data analysis technological tools.
