Baseado nas leituras críticas de Gilles Deleuze e de Félix Guattari dos trabalhos de Sigmund Freud e de Jacques Lacan, este ensaio tem como objetivo elaborar tanto clinicamente quanto filosoficamente as forças que compõem o inconsciente semiótico. Junto do filme Elefante (2003) de Gus Van Sant, o texto empreende uma discussão pragmática a respeito da máquina de guerra. Propomos uma nova conceptualização do Fort-Da com o termo imagem-morte enquanto um curto-circuito entre as categorias de real e de imaginário. Complexificando problematizações sobre temas contemporâneos como a violência juvenil e a educação no ensino médio, trabalhamos com o entrelaçamento de prática e de teoria, sublinhando questões sobre a teoria da libido, agencimentos, a produção de conceitos, micropercepções, e castração simbólica como trauma. Based on Gilles Deleuze’s and Félix Guattari’s critical readings of both Sigmund Freud’s and Jacques Lacan’s works, this essay aims to clinically as well as philosophically elaborate on the forces composing the semiotic unconscious. With Gus Van Sant’s film Elephant (2003), the text undertakes a pragmatic discussion concerning the war machine. We propose a new conceptualization of the Fort-Da with the term death-image as a short-circuit between the categories of the real and the imaginary. Complexifying problematizations about contemporary themes such as youth violence and high school education, we work with the entanglement of practice and theory, underlining questions about the theory of the libido, agency, the production of concepts, microperceptions, and symbolic castration as trauma.
