Resumo(s)

Nowadays, hotels are amassing substantial volumes of customer-generated data. In response to growing competition, there is a need to harness this data as a strategic means of distinguishing themselves. This research will focus on the exploration of how digital twin technology can be employed to elevate the hotel guest experience and ascertain the extent to which guests are inclined to engage with it. A comprehensive examination encompassed the analysis of 201 responses via the application of the partial least squares structural equation modeling approach. The findings of this investigation revealed a significant impact of perceived usefulness on individuals' attitudes towards digital twin adoption, with the latter being further influenced by perceived ease of use. Notably, the study identified a direct relationship between attitude and the intention to use digital twin technology. The insights garnered from this research may serve as a foundational resource for future scholars aiming to enhance their comprehension of the implementation of digital twin technologies within the hotel industry, thereby enhancing service quality for their clientele.
