| dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo pretende mostrar que los cambios de la orden jurídico-urbanística relativos a los espacios públicos de circulación viaria han producido reflejos concretos en la regulación de las fachadas de los edificios, al establecer restricciones legales a la libertad de edificación privada. Utilizando como fuente de investigación las normas jurídicas disponibles, pero también las prácticas jurídicas de algunos casos particulares, lo estudio se centra en Portugal entre la Edad Media y el comienzo de la contemporaneidad. This article is aimed at showing that the changes in the legal-urban order regarding the different transport means in public spaces have specific consequences on the regulation of the facades of buildings by imposing legal restrictions to private building freedom. This study focuses on Portugal between the Middle Ages and the early contemporary era, based on the available legal norms, but also the legal practices of some specific cases. | en |
