dc.description.abstractEste ensaio tem como objetivo apresentar uma análise comparativa das obras o Livro do desassossego e A educação do estóico, de Fernando Pessoa. A leitura será centrada nas personagens protagonistas das duas obras e tangeciará em que medida as trajetórias de Bernardo Soares e Barão de Teive são permeadas pelo pessimismo decorrente da angústia instaurada diante da necessidade imperativa de escrever e a dificuldade de fazê-lo. Para tanto, serão utilizadas as ideias de Artur Schopenhauer sobre o pessimismo e reflexões sobre personagens conceituais, a partir do pensamento de Guatarri e Deleuze. O paralelo entre as duas personagens será abordado tendo em vista os seguintes temas: vontade/tédio, sonho/realidade, razão/sentimento. ABSTRACT: This essay aims to present a comparative analysis of the works Livro do desassossego e A educação do estóico, by Fernando Pessoa. The study will focus on the protagonist characters of the two works and will see to what extent the trajectories of Bernardo Soares and Barão de Teive are permeated by the pessimism arising from the unsatisfied will. To do so, we will use the ideas of Artur Schopenhauer on pessimism and will and reflections on conceptual characters, from the thought of Guatarri and Deleuze. The parallel between the two characters will be approached in view of the following themes: will / boredom, dream / reality, reason / feeling, in an attempt to understand the anguish established before the imperative need to write and the difficulty of doing so.en
