Este livro aborda o Turismo em Espaço Rural (TER) em Portugal, considerando dados quantitativos e qualitativos, recolhidos numa perspetiva multi-escalar. Os objetivos são integrar o TER nas dinâmicas da pós/neo-ruralidade em Portugal, caracterizar a oferta, os promotores e a procura, bem como analisar o contributo percebido e efetivo do sector para o desenvolvimento rural. This book tackles Tourism in Rural Areas (TRA), a tourist accomodation sector in the Portuguese countryside, considering quantitative and qualitative materials collected in a multi-scalar perspective. The aims are to integrate TRA in to the dynamics of the Portuguese post/neo-rurality, to examine the supply, its promoters and the demand, as well to analyze the perceived and actual effects of the sector on rural development.
