Applications of several adjustment methods and the Without Replacement Bootstrap (BWO) are presented, using data from the 1997 Annual Business Survey, conducted by Portugal’s National Statistics Institute. The application of these methods is motivated by issues related with frame problems and total nonresponse. The BWO algorithm is used for variance estimation of the considered estimators: the adjustment cell estimator, the post-stratified estimator and the post-stratified estimator with adjustment cells. The results agree with the theoretical evidences referred in the literature.
