A falsa perceção da igualdade: alguns contrastes entre o português e o espanhol

Abstract

O presente trabalho aborda algumas diferenças e semelhanças entre o português e o espanhol. A proximidade linguística e geográfica condiciona a aprendizagem da língua e da cultura espanholas, sendo a língua espanhola, na maior parte das vezes, encarada pelos alunos portugueses como uma tradução da língua materna, o que dá origem a erros de adequação ao contexto ou a imagens estereotipadas. O tema tem por base alguns conceitos abordados e discutidos no capítulo teórico, nomeadamente a competência intercultural e a competência sociocultural, bem como a importância do papel do professor na sua capacidade de dotar o aluno de elementos sociolinguísticos, para que haja um menor número possível de mal entendidos. O docente, através das várias atividades que proporciona ao aluno, leva-o a consciencializar-se acerca da sua cultura e a da cultura-meta. Por fim, apresenta-se o contexto de realização da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada e um conjunto de atividades mais significativas desenvolvidas ao longo do ano letivo, em que o tema foi abordado.

This report refers to some differences and similarities between Portuguese language and Spanish language. The linguistic and geographical proximity affects the learning of the Spanish culture and language, being the Spanish language, most of the time, faced by portuguese students as a translation from their mother language, which originates adequacy errors to the context or to stereotypical images. The theme of this report is based on some of the concepts discussed in the theoretical chapter, namely the intercultural and social cultural competence, as well as the importance of the teacher in his/her ability to provide students sociolinguistic elements, in order to decrease the number of misunderstandings. The teacher, through several activities, provided to the students, make them aware of their own culture and of the target culture. Finally, it is presented the context in which the Supervised Teaching Practice took place and a set of the most significant activities developed through the school year
