Algumas carraças das ilhas de Cabo Verde

Os A.A. recolheram, em algumas ilhas de Cabo Verde, as seguintes espécies de carraças:
Amblyomma variegatum (Fabricius, 1749) e Macgarnpus decoloratus (Koch, 1844) em bois; uma ninfa de Hyalomma sp. (Koch, 1844) numa ave de rapina; 4 ninfas de Rhipicephalus sanguineus (Latreille, 1804) em liberdade nas ervas. Nada se encontrou em quaisquer outras espécies de pássaros.
A. Variegatum, espécie muito frequente em Cabo Verde foi encontrada por Meira e outros, na ilha da Boa Vista em 1946 e, por Tendeiro na ilha de Santiago em 1950.
The AA. found in some of Cape Verd islands species of ticks· as follows: Amblyomma variegatum (Fabricius, 1749) and Margaropus decoloratus (Koch, 1844), in oxen; onde nymph of Hyalomma sp. (Koch, 1844), in a bird of prey; 4 nymphs of Rhipicephalus sanguineus (Latreille, 1804), free in the grass. ln other species of birds ticks were not found. Amblyomma variegatum, wich is very frequent in Cape Verd, had been found by Meira et alt. in the Boa Vista island 1946, and by Tendeiro, in the Santiago Iso, 1950.
