O médico com a saúde do agente rural bântu a seu cargo não pode deixar-se vencer pela complexidade dos problemas que encontra.
Deve confiar nos recursos que tenha ou que possa arranjar. Trabalhando, não só para, mas com os aldeões indígenas, estudando a situação bem de perto, preparando o povo para cada passo a dar no Caminho para a Saúde, ele pode levar a cabo muitas medidas práticas de sanidade rural.
Controle da malária, construção de retretes higiénicas, emprego de insecticidas, provisão de água potável. guerra aos ratos, campanhas a favor de alimentos protectores, controle de doenças infecciosas, imunização, estudos da morbilidade e mortalidade, ensino de auxiliares sanitários: eis algumas das actividades que podem contribuir para o levantamento do nível de saúde entre os bântus.
The doctor who is charged of the health of the rural bantu people has to resolve the great many problems which appear. Working not only in favour of the natives but also with them, inspecting their conditions, and teaching them how to improve their healt he may accomplish many praticai measures of rural sanity. Some activities which can contribute for the improvement of the health among the bântu: malaria ·control; construction of hygienic water-closets; use of insecticides; potable water provisions; fight against rats; campaigns for the protective foods; infectious diseases control; immunization; morbidity and mortality studies; training of auxiliaries for sanitary purposes.
