Ao A. no inquérito tuberculino-radiofotográfico levado a efeito à população escolar da Ilha de São Tomé, foi possível verificar que, em relação à primeira parte deste inquérito, se obteve uma percentagem de 57,4 de reacções positivas à tuberculina utilizando como provas únicas a cuti-reacção ao adesivo e o Mantoux a 1/1000 nas crianças acima dos 12 anos de idade. Este estudo realizou-se em complemento da Campanha Anti-tuberculosa, que na Província de S. Tomé e Príncipe tem vindo a desenvolver-se há pouco mais de dois anos.No final deste trabalho seguem quadros pormenorizados da investigação feita e que tornaram possível a síntese apresentada.
It was possible for the author to verify the results of tuberculin sensitivity tests and mass radiography in the school age children of the Island of S. Tomé, in connection with the frirst part of this enquiry a percentage was obtained of 57,4 of positive reactions to the tuberculin utilizing as only pooofs a cutaneous-reaction to the adhesive tape and the Mantoux test to 1/1000 in the children over 12 years of age. This study was realised in addition to the Campaign Against.tuberculosis which in the Province of S. Tomé and Principe has been developed, since more or less than two years, At the end of this paper there follow detailed pictures of the investigation realised which made possible the synthesis presented.
