O objetivo desta tese consiste em investigar a trajetória ocupacional de jovens entre
os 24 e os 30 anos de idade que estejam inseridos em condições de trabalho irregular
e descontínuo, no aspecto da ausência de vinculo contratual e das garantias sociais
supostamente inerentes ao mesmo e da baixa remuneração, buscando compreender
de que maneira as transformações estruturais da sociedade se refletem nas trajetórias
dos jovens e identificar quais são as principais oportunidades e obstáculos que
compõem a experiência dos jovens no mundo do trabalho. A formulação inicial desta
proposta tem por interesse estudar a realidade brasileira, onde os jovens têm um peso
particular e as desigualdades sociais são vincadas, com implicações sociais que
poderão traduzir-se nas próprias políticas públicas. A orientação metodológica para
esta pesquisa adota abordagem qualitativa na combinação das articulações de um
referencial teórico problematizador dos contextos e das condições juvenis atuais, dos
estudos quantitativos disponíveis em bancos de dados oficiais, e de um trabalho de
campo, cujo universo empírico incluiu jovens que como meio de sobrevivência
executam atividades laborais pouco qualificadas em ocupações como a recolha do lixo
reciclável, venda de rua, lavadores de carro, entregadores de panfleto e malabares de
semáforo.
The objective of this thesis is to investigate the occupational trajectory of young people between 24 and 30 years old who are placed in irregular working conditions and discontinuous, in the aspect of the absence of contractual relationship and social guarantees allegedly inherent in even and low remuneration, seeking to understand how structural changes in society are reflected in the trajectories of young people and identify which are the main opportunities and obstacles that make up the experience of young people in the working world. The initial formulation of this proposal is interest to study the Brazilian reality, where young people have a particular weight and social inequalities are creased with social implications that might result in the very public policies. The methodological guidance for this research adopts a qualitative approach in combining the joints of a problem-solving theoretical contexts and current youth conditions, quantitative studies available in official databases, and field work, whose empirical universe included young people as a means survival perform unskilled labor activities in occupations such as collecting recyclable waste, street vending, car washers, pamphlet couriers and juggling semaphore.
