Abstract: This case study offers students an in-depth look into the strategic decision-making within Meditech, focusing on Digital Health Applications (DiGAs). It explores Meditech's initial preference for partnerships and its later consideration of ownership in the DiGA sector, in light of the evolving digital healthcare landscape. This shift in strategy is analyzed through the lens of core strategic concepts, highlighting Meditech's adaptive responses to technological advancements and regulatory changes. Students will examine the complexities and challenges of innovation in digital healthcare, gaining insights into Meditech's strategic balance between diversification, partnership, and ownership in a market characterized by continuous evolution and innovation.
