Abstract: This case study examines DoorDash, a US-based logistics company that went public on the New York Stock Exchange in December 2020. The case spans from the company's inception to its initial public offering, with a particular emphasis on the elements that propelled DoorDash to outpace competitors and secure a dominant market position. The study meticulously explores DoorDash's strategic approach, the underlying philosophy, financial metrics as well as the company's funding rounds and investors involved in its trajectory.
