"The cerebellum is a brain structure involved in various sensorimotor and cognitive func- tions. For locomotor behaviors, the cerebellum is critical for keeping movements cali- brated and coordinated across the body. Further, within the cerebellar circuit, various cell types have been mapped to distinct functions required for proper execution of move- ment.
