O texto procura evidenciar como, no âmbito da filosofia de José Ortega y Gasset, a reflexão sobre a actividade técnica é inseparável da peculiar maneira de o pensador espanhol recorrer ao método fenomenológico. Para que se compreenda a leitura do filósofo espanhol da dimensão técnica do viver, será necessário acompanhar, sobretudo, a análise que realizou na sua "Meditación de la técnica", ainda que seja inevitável remeter para outros textos profundamente articulados com esse curso universitário apresentado em 1933. / The text seeks to show how, within the scope of José Ortega y Gasset's philosophy, reflection on technical activity is inseparable from the peculiar way in which the Spanish thinker uses the phenomenological method. In order to understand his reading of the technical dimension of living, it will be necessary to follow, above all, the analysis he carried out in "Meditación de la técnica", although it is inevitable to refer to other texts deeply articulated with this university course presented in 1933.
