Resumo(s)
1- Trataram-se 24 portadores de Taenia saginata, de idade entre 1 e 15 anos e de ambos os sexos com o N – (2’- cloro – 4’ nitrofenil) – 5 – cloros-salicilamida (Bayer 2353 = Yomesan).
A posologia total foi de 1 a 2 g, segundo a idade, administrada em jejum e em duas metades, com intervalo de uma hora.
2- Obteve-se a expulsão definitiva do parasita em 21 (87,5%).
Os doentes não voltaram a eliminar segmentos de verme em controles feitos ao 3º e 5º meses depois do tratamento
3- O medicamento foi usado sem preparação prévia dos docentes e mantendo-os nas suas condições de vida usuais. Em todos eles foi bem tolerado, não se registando qualquer efeito secundário.
4- A eficácia e boa tolerância do Bayer 2353, verificada por outros investigadores, foi confirmada.
1-24 porteurs de Taenia saginata, d’age entre 5 et 15 anset des deux sexes, ont été traités avec le N – (2’-chlor – 4’ nitrofenil) – 5 – chlorsalicylamide (Bayer 2353 = Yomesan). La posologie total a été de 1 à 2 g selon l’age, et administrée à jeûne et en deux fractions égales, avec une heure d’interval. 2- L’élimination definitive du parasite à été obtenue en 21 cas (87,5% de guérisons parasitologiques). Les malades n’ont plus décelé des anneaux du ver dans es selles, ce qui a été confirme para des examens faits au 3éme et 5éme mois aprés le traitement. 3- Le medicament a été employé sans aucune préparation des malades, qui ont continue leurs activités habituelles. Il a été bien toleré et les effects sécondaires n’ont pas été observes. 4- L’efficace et la bonne tolerance du Bayer 2353, verifiée par d’autres chercheurs, a été confirmée.
1-24 cases infested by Taenia saginata, with agesfrom 5 up to 15 years and of both sexes, were treated with N – (2’ – chlor – 4’ – nitrofenil) – 5 – chlorsalicylamid (Bayer 2353 = Yomesan). The total dose varied between 1 and 2 g, according to age, administered during a fasting state and two equal fractions, with an hour interval. 2- The definitive elimination of the parasite was obtained in 21 cases (87,5 per cent of parasitological cure. These did not show any segments of the worm in the feces after treatment, which was confirmed by controls made in the third and fifth months after the treatment. 3- The drug was employed without any previous preparation of the patients and they maintained their usual activities. The drug was very well tolerated and no secondary effects were observed. 4 – The efficacity and good tolerance of the drug verified by other investigators, were confirmed.
