Successful clinical trials saved the lives of many patients otherwise with untreatable diseases and numerous products were granted market approval. Gammaretroviral and lentiviral vectors (γ- RV and LV) are the gene delivery vehicles with higher representation in clinical trials and commercialized virus-based products. (...)"
