RESUMO - É hoje crescente a procura do acompanhamento da gravidez
e, consequentemente, do diagnóstico pré-natal, quer
por motivação dos profissionais, quer dos próprios utentes.
À baixa de natalidade verificada nos últimos dez anos em
Portugal tem correspondido uma procura gradual e substancialmente
maior das consultas de diagnóstico pré-natal,
seguidas na maioria das vezes pela realização de métodos
invasivos, nomeadamente a amniocentese.
Assim, como objectivos do presente estudo, pretende-se
avaliar a qualidade do Centro de Diagnóstico Pré-Natal do
IGM /CHVNG, usando dois parâmetros: I) avaliar o grau
de satisfação das utentes através de um questionário e
II) avaliar retrospectivamente a qualidade do serviço prestado
à população através de uma amostra seleccionada.
ABSTRACT - Nowadays, demand for medical support during pregnancy is increasing, and, as a consequence, so is demand for pre-natal diagnostic, both requested by professionals and by patients themselves. The lower birth rate in Portugal over the last 10 years has gone hand in hand with a gradual and increasingly larger demand for pre-natal diagnostic, followed, most of the time, by invasive methods, namely amniocentesis. Therefore, the objective of the present study was to evaluate the quality of the IGM/CHVNG CPD using two parameters: I) evaluate patient satisfaction by means of a questionnaire and II) retrospectively evaluate the quality of the service offered to the population, by means of a selected sample.
