| dc.description.abstract | "The ability to sense carbon availability and dynamically adjust growth through integrated sugar-sensing pathways is essential for plant adaptation and survival. A key component of these pathways is the signaling molecule trehalose 6-phosphate (T6P). T6P reflects sucrose availability and maintains sucrose homeostasis by coordinating its synthesis, allocation, and utilization. Accordingly, T6P is a key positive regulator of growth and developmental transitions in sucrose-demanding sink tissues.(...)" | pt_PT |
