dc.description.abstractThe ability of an organism to sense and react to environmental stimuli, maintaining homeostasis under ever-changing conditions, is key for survival. The plant SnRK1 (Snf1-Related protein Kinase 1) is a central energy sensor and metabolic regulator that integrates multiple inputs to balance cellular energy levels. In doing so, it takes part in the plant stress (energy deprivation) response but also on normal plant growth and developmental decisions. The SnRK1 kinase is conserved in all eukaryotes. It functions as a heterotrimer composed of !-catalytic and "- and #-regulatory subunits.(...)pt_PT
