Realizou-se na província de Timor uma sondagem sobre a incidência de algumas dermopatias, a qual se efectuou em 3.086 indivíduos de várias idades, sexos e raças dos quais 2.757 pertencentes à raça melanoasiática.
Registou-se uma incidência apreciável de sudaminas nos leucoeuropeus e um pouco menor nos xantoasiáticos e mistos, pequena nos melanoasiáticos.
Constatou-se uma moderada incidência global de piodermites, de escabies e de micoses, as quais, no entanto, se mostraram elevadas em algumas localidades. Apresenta-se o significado estatístico da diferença de incidência em função do sexo e do grupo etário.
An inquiry in Portuguese Timor, on some dermatosis incidence was carried out, among 3.086 persons of different ages, sexes and races, of whom 2.757 belong to the melanoasiatic race. An important incidence of sudamina among the leucoeuropeans was registered as well as among the xanthoasiatics and half-breeds but less important. The melanoasitics one was quite small. The global incidence of piodermites scabies and micoses was moderate. Nevertheless, at same places it was very high. The statistical signification of the difference of the incidence has been presented, relating to sex and age groups.
