In this article, the author focuses on the chancellery of king D. Dinis presenting new ideias for its diplomatist understanding, and, simultaneously, values, announces and publishes a set of documentation, little divulged, that allows for a reappraising of the historical dimension and the meaning of the documentary production from this king.
