| dc.description.abstract | Kant estabelece como objeto último da razão prática aquilo a que chama summum bonum – a determinação teleológica absoluta constituída pela efetivação de um reino dos fins no qual a felicidade é distribuída em proporção com a moralidade dos agentes. Esta ligação entre felicidade e moralidade levanta problemas a quem esteja familiarizado com a deontologia de Kant: como pode a moralidade, que tem de ser autónoma e auto-suficiente, estar necessariamente ligada à felicidade tão desdenhada pela doutrina moral kantiana? Neste artigo far-se-á um levantamento dos elementos constitutivos na dedução do sumo Bem, procurar-se-á avaliar onde se encontram possíveis falhas de Kant no tocante a este objeto, e oferecer-se-á a possibilidade de uma nova compreensão da ligação entre a moralidade e a felicidade no sumo Bem, através da noção de paralaxe enquanto modalidade perspética. Kant establishes as the ultimate object of practical reason that which he calls summum bonum – the absolute teleological determination which is constituted by the realization of a kingdom of ends in which happiness is distributed in proportion with the morality of agents. This connection between happiness and morality must raise a fundamental objection with those familiar with Kant’s deontology: how can morality, which must remain autonomous and self-sufficient, be necessarily linked with the happiness which the Kantian moral doctrine so disdains? In this article, we will examine the constitutive elements found in the deduction of the highest good, we will attempt to assess any possible flaws in Kant’s doctrine regarding this object, and provide a new understanding for the connection between morality and happiness within the highest good, through the concepts of parallax and perspective modality. | en |
