Realizou-se uma prospecção no sudoeste de Angola, e na margem direita do rio Cuando, para identificação duma mancha de glossinas. Capturaram-se 200 espécies de Glossina morsitans Westwood, não tendo sido encontrada qualquer outra espécie. Apontam-se os limites prováveis da referida mancha, e formula-se a hipótese de que essa mancha se encontre em progressão para o norte.
Summary: For tehe identification of a patch os Glossina an investigation was carried out in South-West Angola and on the right border of river Cuando. 200 specimens of Glossina morsitqans Westwood were collected, no other species having been found.The probable limits of the respective patch are pointed out, and the suppositon is maintained that this patch is advancing towards the North.
