| dc.description.abstract | Os autores publicam a informação contextual e os artefactos associados em estratigrafia de uma ocupação suburbana da cidade romana de Olisipo. O local situava-se na margem direita do antigo Esteiro da Baixa, contribuindo deste modo para o refinamento das leituras sobre este curso de água e sua importância e significado para o urbanismo romano imperial. Discute-se o significado do abandono das construções estudadas nos finais do século III e primeiros decénios do séc. IV d.C. em Olisipo. The authors publish and interpret the contextual data and stratified artifacts of a suburban construction of the Roman town of Olisipo (Lisboa). The site was situated on the right bank of «Esteiro da Baixa», a water course of downtown Lisbon. Therefore, the significance of the roman constructions is discussed referring to the water course´s importance and significance towards local Roman urbanistic of the area. A reflection on late 3d to 4th centuries A.D. abandonment of the suburban settlement is also performed, referring to the transformations performed in the town in this transitional period. | en |
