| dc.description.abstract | Durante a ocupação da Província por forças estrangeiras, as atividades dos Serviços de Saúde e Higiene foram paralisadas por completo tendo sido destruídos quase todos os edifícios destinados às mesmas e perdendo-se todo o material para esse fim. Com a reocupação da Província iniciaram-se novamente as atividades sanitárias, estabelecendo-se por Portaria n.º 1299, de 15-11-1947 em 1 delagação e 4 subdelegações de saúde com os respetivos postos sanitários. Classificou-se o núcleo de edifícios existentes em Lahane, de Hospital Central “Dr. Carvalho”, onde funcionam presentemente os serviços hospitalares centrais, incluindo a Maternidade “Dona Leonor Ruas” que faz parte integrante do mesmo. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | During the occupation of the Province by foreign forces the Health and Sanitary Services activities were completely Paralyzed, nearly all the buildings belonging to the services were destroyed and all the equipment lost. With the reocupationof the Province these activities were resumed and by Order (Portaria) n.º 1299 of 15-11-1947, one health delegation, four subdelegations with their respective dispensaries were established the group of buildings existing in Lahane was named the Dr. Carvalho Central Hospital, were the central hospital services, including the “Dona Leonor Ruas” Maternity Home which forms part of it, now fuction. | pt_PT |
