13 February 1497, Estremoz Confirmation by King Manuel I, of several provisions granted by King Afonso V to the Council of Penela, namely, the number of days of Saint Michael and Saint Sebastian markets, the readjustment of the number of crossbowmen serving the council, the privileges granted to some caretakers in Espinhal, a re-shuffle of council officials, and the delivery of fees aimed at sustaining the cult of the relics.
