dc.description.abstractA reforma da Matemática Moderna ocorre entre as décadas de 50 e 70 do século passado, um pouco por todo o mundo e está associada a uma mudança profunda dos conteúdos e a uma alteração das metodologias de ensino e da linguagem matemática escolar. Neste texto iremos analisar como se instaurou a reforma nas escolas técnicas, usando fontes documentais como jornais, revistas, legislação e outras referências que contribuem para uma visão alargada do sistema político e económico em Portugal. A reforma irá ter um papel importante na reflexão em torno deste subsistema de ensino, contribuindo para uma reformulação das práticas dos professores de matemática das escolas técnicas. || The Modern Mathematics reform took place all over the world, between the 50s and 70s of the last century, and is associated with a profound change in content, teaching methodologies and in school mathematics language. In this text, we will analyse how the reform was introduced in technical schools, using documentary sources such as newspapers, magazines, legislation and other references that contribute to a broader vision of the political and economic system in Portugal. The reform will play an important role in the reflection on this teaching subsystem, contributing to a reformulation of the practices of mathematics teachers in technical schools.en
