Resumo(s)

We consider some of the regulatory problems raised by the existence of a competitive market for a product which requires the use of a monopolized input. We review the existing literature on the optimal regulation of access pricing under different demand and supply conditions, and present some results on the appropriate industry configuration for this type of industry.
